Song Ad Maker Options for Small Business: Who to Hire in 2026

You know your trade. What is less clear is who to pay for a song ad, and how much of your week it will eat.

The best song ad maker depends on how much work you want to do. Violet Recording puts a sung studio jingle at $800 to $2,500, which suits radio. AI tools start around $8 a month on Suno, and you do the work. At 30 Second Productions, our done-for-you team makes a finished video ad with an AI singer for $97.

There are five kinds of song ad maker, and they differ a lot in price, rights and who does the work. This guide lines them up with prices from the providers' own pages.

Key takeaways

  • Prices run from about $8 to $20 a month for an AI app and editor to $800 to $2,500 or more for a sung studio jingle.
  • Suno's free plan does not allow ads. Check the terms of any other app before you spend on ads.
  • Get ownership in writing, whoever makes it.

Small-business owner choosing between a jingle studio, a freelancer, an AI song app, an AI song ad tool and a done-for-you team

Who can make a song ad for a small business?

Five kinds of provider can make a song ad for a small business: a jingle studio, a freelance jingle writer, an AI song app you run yourself, an all-in-one AI song ad tool, or a done-for-you song ad team. The last two hand you a finished video, and they differ on who checks and fixes it.

A song ad is a short video ad where your message is sung, with every word on screen so it works with the sound off. It ends on your name, your offer and what to do next.

Here is a song ad we made for a plumber.

Want one about your business? Get your song ad

The studios and budget services we checked deliver audio, apart from one Killerspots bonus. With audio alone, you still need pictures, captions and an end card before the song can run on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.

In plain words:

  • Jingle studio. A music company that writes, records and mixes a jingle with real singers.
  • Freelance jingle writer. One musician, often hired through a marketplace like Fiverr or SoundBetter. Prices and rights change from seller to seller.
  • AI song app plus a video editor. You pick a style in a tool like Suno and enter your own lyrics or let it write them. Then you build the video yourself in an editor like Canva or CapCut.
  • All-in-one AI song ad tool. A tool like the Revid song ad generator or the Steve AI jingle maker makes the song and the video in one run. You still do the work of checking every word and shot, then fixing what is wrong.
  • Done-for-you song ad team. A team that writes the song, makes the video and hands you the finished ad to approve.

How does each song ad maker compare on price, work and rights?

A studio jingle costs the most, at about $800 to $2,500. A freelancer or budget service runs about $89 to $800, and AI tools cost the least in cash, about $8 to $39 a month, but the most in your own hours. A done-for-you team sits in the middle on price and takes the least of your own time.

One thing to know: we are 30 Second Productions, and we sell the done-for-you option. Every other price comes from that company's own page, opened in November 2026, so you can check us. Violet Recording's figures are a studio's guide to typical prices, not its own price list.

How much of your own time does each option take?

Your own time runs from a 5-minute form with our done-for-you team to every step of the job with an AI app. Studios and freelancers sit between, with a brief and review rounds.

Vendor time claims rarely count the hour you spend on good words, the takes you throw away, or the evening you lose to captions and fixes.

Count your own hours first. Fill in this quick sheet with your real numbers:

  • Hours to write the words and brief: ___
  • Hours to review drafts or generate takes: ___
  • Hours to build the video, captions and end card: ___
  • Your hourly value: $___
  • Hours x hourly value + the price = the real cost of that route

Here is a made-up example. Say a roofer spends 3 hours on words and takes and 4 on the video, and an hour of his time is worth $50. That is 7 x $50 = $350, plus about $20 for a month of the app and editor, so the cheap route just cost $370.

The number will differ for you, and a second ad should go faster. Still, nobody ever got a burst pipe fixed faster by comparing 14 takes of a banjo chorus.

Can you put a Suno or Udio song in a paid ad?

You can put a Suno song in a paid ad if you made it on a paid plan and downloaded it the way Suno's terms allow. Under Udio's terms as of November 2026, you cannot.

  • Suno's pricing page. Suno lists the Free plan with "No commercial rights". Pro and Premier both list commercial use rights.
  • Suno's terms. Suno's terms of service, effective September 3, 2026, only cover commercial use of songs you downloaded through an approved channel, and songs made with Suno's remix feature cannot go in an ad. Rights on a song you downloaded stay if you cancel or downgrade later. Suno makes no promise that you will hold any copyright in your song.
  • Udio. Udio's terms, last revised November 12, 2025, say "You may not download copies of any Output". They bar sharing it on platforms including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, and they limit it to personal, non-commercial use. Digital Music News reported that Udio disabled downloads after its deal with Universal Music Group.

Other tools set their own rules. Atlabs lists "Commercial Use" on its entry plan, but the song you bring needs its own rights. Steve AI says its jingles can be used commercially. Read the terms of the one you use.

For the full DIY walk-through, see our guide to an AI jingle generator vs a jingle writer.

Who owns the finished ad when the job is done?

Ownership of a song ad depends on who made it and what the deal says in writing. Some studios license the jingle for agreed uses and some hand over ownership, freelancers vary, and AI tools set their own terms. A done-for-you team should say plainly who owns the ad.

A license is permission to use something in set ways.

  • Studio. Write Me A Jingle says that once you pay, you own the rights to use the jingle in your approved channels, as set out in the license. Killerspots says you own it forever with no licensing or recurring fees, apart from its pre-existing materials and licensed third-party elements.
  • Freelancer. JVF gives full royalty-free usage rights for your business. Elsewhere, rights vary, so read the package terms, not the gig title.
  • AI app. On paid plans, Suno's terms assign the song to you, subject to its rules on commercial use.
  • All-in-one AI tool. Revid says you keep full ownership of the videos you made.
  • Done-for-you team. With 30 Second Productions, you own the ad and can use it in any ad, on your website, anywhere.

One caution covers all AI-made music. The US Copyright Office said in January 2025 that AI output can get copyright protection only where a human author decided enough of the creative parts, and that typing prompts alone does not count. If one tune will be a long-term brand asset, ask a lawyer. This is general information, not legal advice.

Whoever you pick, get three answers in writing:

  1. Can I use this in paid ads on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok?
  2. Is there an end date, or does the right last forever?
  3. Do I get the files, or only a link?

Which option fits your kind of business?

The best option depends on where the ad will run and how often you need a new one.

  • You buy radio spots. A roofer on local radio every spring needs broadcast-ready files and a license that covers radio. A jingle studio is built for that.
  • You want one tune for years. A dentist who wants the same sung sign-off everywhere can buy that once from a studio or a good freelancer.
  • You enjoy making Reels. A restaurant owner who already films and edits can try an AI app on a paid plan. It is cheap in cash, if you have the evenings.
  • You want many versions fast. A gym owner who likes testing can run an all-in-one AI tool and check and edit each version.
  • You need new ads every month. A plumber testing a new offer each month does not want to edit video. A done-for-you team fits that job.

Whichever you choose, ask for a tune of your own. TikTok's 2021 research with MediaScience found custom music led to higher recall and brand recognition than recognizable music. TikTok sells ads, so treat that as a pointer, not proof.

A song is the wrong buy for some messages. If you are explaining a legal process, a medical risk or a sad subject, a calm spoken video will serve you better.

What should you put in your brief so the first draft works?

Send a song ad maker one sentence about who you help, one offer, two hook lines, a style, and where the ad will run.

Step 1: Say who you help and where

Say who, where and what problem you fix. For example: "[Your Name] Plumbing fixes leaks and blocked drains for homes in [Your Town], same day."

Step 2: Pick one offer

One ad, one offer. "Free drain check with any repair" beats a list of five services.

Step 3: Draft two hooks

A hook is the first line people hear, in the first 3 seconds. Here are original examples to adapt, and our guide on how to write a jingle covers the rest:

  • "Drip in the kitchen, late at night? Call [Your Name], we'll put it right."
  • "Your roof's been talking, every drip's a word. [Your Name] Roofing's listening."

Step 4: Choose a style and a mood

Name a style (country, pop, soul, rock) and a mood (calm, upbeat, funny). Ask for something original, not a copy of a famous song.

Step 5: Say where the ad will run

Social ads, like a TikTok ad with a song, need a vertical video with the words on screen. Radio needs audio-only files in set lengths.

Step 6: Ask who owns the files

Ask in your first message if you can run it in paid ads, if the right ever ends, and if you get the files.

What does a done-for-you team do that an app does not?

A done-for-you song ad team writes the song, makes the video and puts every word on screen, so you never write a prompt or open an editor. An all-in-one AI tool can make the same parts, but you run it and you check its work.

We write a catchy song about your business, or use your own words. A pro-sounding AI singer sings it in the style you pick. Then we turn it into a 3D cartoon music video ad.

Each ad has a hook in the first 3 seconds, the story in the middle, and the offer and next step at the end. The last frame shows your logo, offer and button, in a vertical size ready for social ads.

You get an Ad Factory account, where our team makes your ads and you approve them. You never have to learn an AI tool. It is ready in 72 hours after a 5-minute form, with 1 round of remakes.

One ad is $97. Five new ads a month is $297 a month, cancel any time. Ten a month is $520 a month.

A longer 2-minute song is $47 more at checkout. If you are not happy within 30 days, email us for a full refund.

Here are the honest limits:

  • The singer is AI, not a session vocalist.
  • Every ad is a 3D cartoon, so it will not show your real shop, van or crew.
  • We make the ad, but we do not run your ads for you.
  • We do not make radio or TV versions, so a studio is still the right call for broadcast.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best song ad maker for a small business?

For radio or one tune for years, use a jingle studio. For a low-cost tune, try a freelancer. If you enjoy making content, use an AI tool. For a finished social ad without doing the work, use a done-for-you team such as 30 Second Productions.

Is there a free or cheap song ad maker I can use for my business?

The cheapest cash route we found is Suno Pro at $10 a month, or $8 billed yearly ($96 up front), plus Canva Free. Suno's free plan does not allow ads, so check the terms of any other free tool. You still do the work.

Is an AI singer good enough for a business ad?

An AI singer can sound polished enough for a social media ad. If you want a real person's voice, or broadcast radio, a jingle studio with session singers is the better fit.

Can I get the song and the video from the same company?

Yes. A done-for-you song ad team makes both, and all-in-one AI tools make both while you check the work. The jingle studios and budget services we checked deliver audio. Killerspots is the exception, with a video as a bonus option on its biggest package.

How long does it take to get a song ad made?

An AI tool is minutes per run plus your checking time. Our done-for-you team takes about 72 hours. A jingle studio is 7 to 10 days to a first draft, or 2 to 3 weeks to final, before you add the video.

Do I need to write the lyrics myself?

No route forces you to write from scratch. A studio, a freelancer or a done-for-you team writes the lyrics from your brief, and Suno and Revid can draft them. With an app, you become the editor who catches a wrong phone number or a weak line.

The short version

Whichever you pick, count your own hours, get the rights in writing, and send a short brief with one offer and two hook lines.

If you want a finished song ad without learning a single tool, that is the job we do.
