Best Way to Get AI UGC Ads in 2026: Apps, Creators or Teams
For most busy owners, the best way to get AI UGC ads is a done-for-you team: you approve, they write and make the ad. Pick an app like Creatify (from $15 a month) if you will write and edit yourself, or a Billo creator (from $99) for a real person. Ours, Yapper ads from 30 Second Productions, cost $97.
These ads are now within reach of a one-van plumber or a two-chair salon. The plans look cheap, but a plan does not write the script. Here are the 3 ways to get an ad made, what each costs, who does the work and which rules apply.
Key takeaways
- AI apps cost the least per video, but you write and edit.
- Human creators bring a real person and usually cost more per clip than an app.
- Done-for-you teams make the ad, and you approve it.
- New York requires a clear note on ads with an AI performer, and TikTok rejects or restricts undisclosed AI ads.
- An AI presenter should never pose as a customer.

What is an AI UGC ad, and how is it different from real UGC?
An AI UGC ad is a short video ad where a presenter made with AI, often called an AI avatar or AI actor, talks to the camera in the style of a social media post. The face and the voice are made by software, not filmed.
UGC is short for user-generated content. Real UGC is a video made by an actual person, often a hired creator, who films themselves talking about a product. The look is the same, but what they can claim is not.
A real creator can say they tried your service. An AI presenter has never tried anything, so write the script for a host, not a customer.
Get a talking video ad made for your business for $97 → A real-looking presenter sells for you. We write the words and make the video. You just say yes.
Do AI UGC ads actually work?
Nobody can promise that AI presenter ads will work for you, and we found no solid independent proof that they beat real creators or lose to them. Most numbers you will see online come from companies that sell these tools.
In a Meltwater and YouGov survey published April 21, 2026, nearly 10,000 consumers in seven markets gave their view. Of those, 32% said they would trust a brand less if its content were AI-generated, 15% said more, and 86% said brands should reveal it.
A small test on your own offer tells you more, and the steps are further down.

How do human creators, AI apps and a done-for-you team compare?
Human creators, AI apps and done-for-you teams differ most in who does the work: a creator films it, you make it in an app, or a team makes it for you to approve. Prices come from each provider's own page, checked November 4, 2026.
| Option | Starting price (own page) | Who makes the ad | What you do | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Human creator marketplace (Billo) | From $99 for 15 seconds; 30 seconds costs more, and captions and extra hooks are extra | A real creator films it | Write a brief, ship your product, review | Products you can mail out and real faces |
| Arcads | No dollar prices on its site; plans are shown in credits | You, with AI actors | Write, generate, edit, export | Brands making many test ads a month |
| Creatify | $15 a month (Standard) | You, with AI actors | Write, generate, edit, export | Low monthly cost and lots of templates |
| MakeUGC | $29 a month, billed yearly | You, with AI actors | Write, generate, edit, export | Volume on a yearly plan |
| HeyGen | Free (3 watermarked videos a month); Creator $29 a month | You, with avatars | Write, generate, edit, export | Avatar videos in many languages |
| Creatify Studio | $100 to $200 a video, 25+ a month | Creatify's team, with AI | Approve the work | Brands that need many ads a month |
| One-off done-for-you ad (Yapper ads from 30 Second Productions) | $97 one-time for one 30-second ad | Our team, with an AI presenter | Fill in a form, approve the script and pictures | Busy owners who want one finished ad with no plan |
Prices change often, so check before you buy. Freelancers sell these ads too, but there is no one price to list.
How much do AI UGC ads cost in 2026?
AI apps with public prices list entry plans at $15 to $29 a month, human creators start at $99 a clip, and done-for-you ads run $97 to $200 each. Free app plans exist, and Billo's biggest creator pack costs $5,000. Here is what each provider's own page said on November 4, 2026, with the catch.
Human UGC creators
The catch with human creators is the extras. Billo's pricing page starts at $99 for a 15-second video from a regular creator with basic editing, and 30 seconds costs more. Captions and extra hooks are priced separately, and its packs run from $1,000 for up to 10 videos to $5,000 for up to 57.
The price does not cover your product or shipping it to the creator. That suits a skincare brand. It is harder for a roofer, since you cannot mail a roof.
For creator fees and usage rights, see our guide to how much a UGC video costs in 2026.
Arcads
Arcads does not show dollar prices on its website, so you have to work in credits. Its help center FAQ says Starter has 8,000 credits a month and a talking-actor video uses 800, which is about 10 videos a month. Starter credits reset each cycle.
Outside reviews such as ppc.io put the entry plan at about $110 a month for up to 10 videos. Arcads does not publish that, and the FAQ says it tests new pricing, so confirm before you pay.
The 72-hour trial needs a card, which is not charged during the trial. The Arcads home page offers 1,000+ AI actors.
Creatify
Creatify's low price buys a limited number of clips. Creatify's pricing page shows Standard at $15 a month, or $10 at its annual rate. Standard's 55 credits cover about 11 15-second avatar clips a month, and credits expire after 2 months.
Its free plan gives 10 credits a month, enough for up to 2 video ads, with a watermark.
MakeUGC
MakeUGC's $29 Starter plan comes to $348 for the year, because it is billed yearly. MakeUGC's pricing page says yearly billing saves up to 51% against monthly. You can try any plan for $1.
Starter exports at 480p and 720p only and has no custom avatar. Credits do not roll over.
HeyGen
HeyGen's free plan needs no credit card, but it is a tryout. HeyGen's pricing page gives 3 watermarked videos a month, up to 1 minute each, in 30+ languages. Creator is $29 a month, or $24 paid yearly, with 600 credits a month and 175+ languages.
HeyGen is built for avatar videos of all kinds, not only ads, and you still shape the ad yourself.
A done-for-you team
A done-for-you AI UGC team writes the script, makes the video with an AI presenter, checks it and hands you a finished ad.
Creatify Studio lists $100 to $200 a video, for 25 to 100+ videos a month with a 48-hour turnaround, and it states human review of every ad and unlimited revisions. You book a demo to buy. MakeUGC's custom-priced Enterprise plan offers a strategist and optional managed production. Those teams sell monthly volume, while ours sells one ad with no plan.
Yapper ads from 30 Second Productions cost $97 one-time for one 30-second ad. You fill in a 2-minute form and send your logo, we write the words (or use yours), and you see a picture for each part before we make it. The ad is ready 72 hours after you say yes, with 1 round of changes and a money-back guarantee if you are not happy within 30 days.
Every ad has a hook in the first 3 seconds, the problem and the fix in the middle, and the next step at the end. You get words on screen for sound-off viewing, your logo at the end, and the vertical size for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Each order comes with your own Ad Factory account to order more.
Our presenter is made with AI and looks and sounds real, and real people write and check every video. You cannot pick a different presenter yet. The ads are English only, and we make the ad but do not run it.
If you want many versions every week, an app or a monthly team will beat buying single ads.
Here is the Yapper ad we made to sell our own Song Ads.

How much of your own time does an AI ad take?
A done-for-you team takes the least of your time, because your job is to approve. With an app, you are the writer, director and editor. With a creator, you are the project manager.
- Human creator: write a brief, choose a creator, ship the product, review the clip, ask for changes.
- AI app: learn the app, write the script, generate, watch for odd mouths or hands, regenerate, add captions and your logo, export.
- Done-for-you team: answer the questions, approve the script and pictures, post the finished ad.
Here is an example with made-up numbers. Say your hour is worth $60 and your first app ad takes 3 hours. That $15 plan now costs you $195.
Time your first one and use your real figures.
Do AI UGC ads have to say the presenter is AI?
Often, yes. New York has required a clear note on ads with an AI performer since June 9, 2026, TikTok requires disclosure on AI ads, and the FTC bans fake testimonials across the US. This is general information, not legal advice, so check the rules where your ads run.
Two rules keep you on safer ground: never let the presenter pose as a customer, and add a plain on-screen note such as "AI presenter". Whoever made the ad, check for that note before it runs.
What does New York's AI ad law require?
New York's S8420-A was signed December 11, 2025 and took effect June 9, 2026. A business that produces or creates an ad, and actually knows it has a synthetic performer, must conspicuously disclose it. A synthetic performer is a computer-made human figure who is not recognizable as any real person.
The penalty is $1,000 for a first violation and $5,000 for each later one. The law sets no wording or format, and audio ads are excluded.
If your ads can be seen in New York, add the note. The sources we read do not say how it reaches online ads aimed elsewhere, so ask a lawyer if that matters to you.
What does the FTC say about AI avatars?
The FTC's questions and answers on its review rule (archived copy, October 2026) say the rule does not ban AI avatars in marketing. An avatar's testimonial breaks the rule only if it is fake or false, though an avatar can still be deceptive under the FTC Act.
16 CFR 465.2 bars a business from creating a testimonial that misrepresents that the person exists, used the product or had a certain experience. An AI face saying "I tried this plumber and loved it" claims an experience nobody had.
The rule lets the FTC seek civil penalties against knowing violators, and Benesch reported in April 2026 that the penalties run up to $53,088 per violation.
The FTC Endorsement Guides agree. Section 255.1 says endorsements must reflect the endorser's honest experience, and Section 255.2(c) says an ad showing actual consumers should use actual consumers or clearly disclose that they are not.
What do TikTok and Meta require for AI ads?
TikTok's ad policy, last updated April 2026, allows AI content if you disclose it with TikTok's label or your own clear disclaimer, caption, watermark or sticker. It says an undisclosed ad "will be rejected or restricted". Its ad disclaimer guide lists AI-generated content as a mandatory disclaimer, set with a toggle in TikTok Ads Manager.
If you run your own ads, that toggle is your job.
Meta says it will add an "AI info" label in the About this ad section when it detects ads made with third-party AI tools, according to its February 2025 post, updated June 1, 2026. The label next to the word Sponsored covers AI people made with Meta's own tools, and Meta says this may vary by region. Write every ad so it still works when a viewer knows the presenter is AI.
What should an AI presenter never say in your ad?
An AI presenter should never speak as a customer, claim to have used your service, or quote results you cannot prove. Write the presenter as a friendly host who tells people about you.
| Don't have the presenter say | Say this instead |
|---|---|
| "I used Bright Smile Dental and my teeth have never looked better." | "Bright Smile Dental does same-week cleanings, and you can book online." |
| "Best roofer I have ever hired." | "Read what real homeowners say in [your real number] Google reviews." |
These business names are made up, and every fact on the right must be true for your business. If you have real reviews, show them as quotes on screen with the customer's first name and permission.

What does a 30-second talking ad script look like?
A 30-second talking ad script has three parts: a hook (the line that stops the scroll) in the first 3 seconds, the problem and the fix in the middle, and one clear next step at the end. The sample below runs about 65 words.
Say you run a plumbing company. Here is an original script for an AI presenter, not a fake customer:
0 to 3 seconds (hook): "Shower going cold? Watch this first."
3 to 12 seconds (problem): "Most of us only think about the water heater when it stops. By then you are paying for a rush job."
12 to 24 seconds (fix): "Hill Street Plumbing does a water heater check and flush for one set price. A licensed plumber checks the tank and tells you straight."
24 to 30 seconds (next step): "Tap the button to book this week. Hill Street Plumbing. Hot showers, no surprises."
Read yours out loud with a timer, and cut words until it fits with room to breathe. On screen, put the hook as big text, a small "AI presenter" note, and the price and booking link at the end. Hill Street Plumbing is a made-up name, so swap in your own offer and only claims you can stand behind.
Here is the Yapper ad we made for our Holiday Song Club.

Need a different opening? Here are three hooks for other trades:
- Dentist: "Your teeth do not hurt. That is exactly when to book a cleaning."
- Roofer: "Missing shingles after last night's wind? Here is what to check from the ground."
- Gym: "You do not need to get fit before you join a gym. That is our job."
For more hook styles, our guide to UGC video ad scripts that convert has three full outlines.
How do you test your first AI presenter ad?
Test your first AI presenter ad by running two versions with different hooks against one offer, then judging them on the cost of each lead, not on views.
Step 1: Pick one offer and one goal
Choose a single offer, such as a set-price check-up, and one goal, such as booked calls.
Step 2: Make two hooks
Change only the first 3 seconds of the script.
Step 3: Run both side by side
Give both ads the same audience and the same daily budget on Meta or TikTok. Let them run a full week so weekdays and weekends both count.
Step 4: Judge on cost per lead
Divide what you spent on each ad by the leads it brought in. Keep the cheaper one, write a new hook to beat it, and repeat.

When is an AI presenter the wrong choice?
An AI presenter is the wrong choice when your own face is the product, when you need to show real work, or when you need real customers to vouch for you. In those cases, film yourself or hire a human creator.
- You are the brand. A lawyer or realtor often wins work because people trust them in person.
- The work is the proof. A before-and-after kitchen or a cleaned-up yard is best shown with real photos and footage.
- You need testimonials. Only real customers can give one.
- Your customers speak another language. Our Yapper ads are English only for now.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI UGC ad service for a small business?
The best service depends on what you need. For one finished ad with no app, a done-for-you team such as Yapper ads from 30 Second Productions fits. For many ads a month, look at Creatify Studio or Arcads. For a real person on screen, try Billo, and for avatars in many languages, try HeyGen.
Can I use my own face instead of an AI presenter?
Yes, with some apps. HeyGen includes a custom video avatar on its free plan, and Arcads lets you create your own AI avatar. Our Yapper ads use our own AI presenter, and you cannot pick a different one yet.
Are AI UGC ads allowed on Facebook and TikTok?
Yes, if they follow each platform's ad rules and do not mislead viewers. TikTok says undisclosed AI ads will be rejected or restricted, Meta says it will add an "AI info" label to ads it detects, and New York requires a clear note. Never let an AI presenter pose as a real customer.
Who owns an AI ad once it is made?
Ownership depends on the provider, so read each app's terms before you run ads. With Yapper ads, you own the finished ad and can use it in any ad, on your website, or anywhere else.
How fast can I get an AI presenter ad made?
An app is as fast as you can write and edit the ad yourself. Creatify Studio lists 48 hours for its managed service. Yapper ads are ready 72 hours after you say yes.
The short version
Whichever route you pick, treat your AI presenter as a friendly host who explains your offer, never as a fake customer, and add a clear AI note.
Then make one ad, test two hooks, and judge it on what each lead costs. If you would rather skip the app and the editing, our Yapper ads are made for you and checked by real people before they reach you.
