Facebook Ads for HVAC Companies: 3 Examples and What to Say

Nobody has ever sat on the couch on a nice spring night and wondered how the furnace is feeling.

Then it's 6 a.m. in January, the kids are eating cereal in their coats, and someone says, "Who do we call?"

That's the moment you want. But someone with a dead furnace isn't scrolling.

In our view, Facebook ads for HVAC companies do their real job earlier. They put your name in a homeowner's head months before the heat quits. That takes four things: a problem they know, your name said twice, one offer and one button.

We think nothing sticks a name in a head like a song. You don't try to remember it. It just won't leave.

At 30 Second Ad Factory, the done-for-you ad team from 30 Second Productions, we write a catchy song about your heating and air company. An AI singer sings it, and we turn it into a 3D cartoon ad with every word on screen. You fill in a 5-minute form, and it's ready in 72 hours.

We don't have a finished HVAC song ad to show you yet, so here's one we made for a yard cleanup company, another home trade.

Facebook can't catch the emergency

Some people with no heat will search. Some will text a neighbor. Some will call the name they already know.

So keep your Google listing in good shape. That's where the panic goes.

Facebook gets people on a calm day, looking at a video of someone's dog. You can't sell a furnace repair to a person whose furnace works.

You can get them to know your name, though.

Most of the HVAC ad guides we read skip that part. LeadSync's review of long-running HVAC ads (updated August 2026) boils them down to "a dollar figure, a season, and a Book Now button." Fair enough for a tune-up, though Meta's Ad Library doesn't show how those ads did.

But think about what's left a week later. The price is gone. So is the season. If the name went too, you paid to teach them that tune-ups exist.

UpFrog's HVAC guide (checked November 2026) gets close. It describes one ad that exists "to keep your brand top-of-mind while the homeowner decides." We think that's the job of every ad you run.

What should Facebook ads for HVAC companies say?

Say the thing the homeowner says, then say your name.

Your customer has never said "variable-speed blower" at dinner. They say:

  • "Why is it blowing warm?"
  • "What's that banging in the wall?"
  • "I can see my breath in the kitchen."

Pick one line and build the whole ad around it. A tune-up ad that also pitches new systems, duct cleaning and your long history does no job at all.

Then put your name in the words, on the screen and in the last shot. In our view, a name you hear twice beats a logo sitting politely in the corner.

Nobody hums a coupon

Even the biggest ads lose the name. System1 reports (January 2026) that 21% of 2025 Super Bowl viewers couldn't recall the advertiser. The same post ranks jingles in the top three things that get an ad credited to the right brand.

MassiveMusic, a sonic-branding agency, reports (August 2026) that a System1 analysis of more than 1,250 campaigns gave jingles 1.9 times the brand fluency of a standard visual logo. Brand fluency means how quickly people know whose ad it is.

Those numbers come from the Super Bowl and award entries, not a heating company in Ohio, and that agency sells music. But in our view the idea fits your trade better than most. Nobody picks the day the furnace dies.

Three HVAC Facebook ads you can steal

We wrote these for this post, so they aren't real ads and have no results behind them. Swap in your name, your town and your real price.

The fall furnace check

Your furnace had a birthday. Nobody came.

Leaves come down, the nights turn cold, your furnace is another year old. Say it with me, say it twice: [Your Name], [Your Name], warm and nice.

On screen: your name, star rating and town. Offer: furnace tune-up for [Your Price]. Button: Book now.

The spring AC check

Remember last July? Nobody slept.

Sticky sheets and a fan on high, the old AC just waved goodbye. [Your Name], [Your Name], check it today, keep that sticky night away.

On screen: your name and [Your Town]'s heating and air crew. Offer: spring AC check for [Your Price]. Button: Book now.

The tired old system

One more repair, or a new system?

Fixed it last year, fixed it in May, one more bill is on its way. [Your Name], [Your Name], tell me true: fix the old or get the new?

On screen: your name, rating and town. Offer: a straight answer on repair or replace. Button: Get quote.

Run them before anyone needs you

ENERGY STAR's maintenance checklist says "it's best to check the cooling system in the spring and the heating system in the fall." So run AC ads in spring, furnace ads in fall. That's two honest reasons to show up.

The song does the long job. Someone who skips the tune-up in October still heard your name in October. In January, that's your head start.

Keep your name out from under the buttons

The Meta Ads Guide page for Facebook Reels (checked November 2026) recommends a tall 9:16 video and suggests keeping roughly 14% of the top, 35% of the bottom and 6% of each side free of text and logos. A name hiding behind Facebook's buttons helps nobody.

A song ad puts every word on screen and ends on your logo, offer and button, so people on mute still get your name. For other sizes, see our Facebook video ad size guide.

Here's one more from another home trade, a power washing company.

How much does it cost to get an HVAC ad made?

Anywhere from your own time to $2,500 for a studio jingle alone. A finished 30 Second Ad Factory song ad is $97. The money to run it is separate.

Here's why we'd pick us: you get the song and the video in one go, and you're not filming on a roof in July.

You own the ad and get 1 round of remakes. If you aren't happy within 30 days, email us for a full refund.

When is a song ad the wrong buy?

Skip it if:

  • You need the phone to ring tonight. A name in someone's head is slow work. Fix your Google listing first.
  • Your offer is weak or your reviews are thin. A catchy song won't cover that.
  • You don't want an AI voice on your brand. Our singer is AI. A phone video of you works too.

Frequently asked questions

How much should an HVAC company spend on Facebook ads to start?

Jobber's HVAC ads guide (updated January 2025) suggests about $5 to $10 a day for a boosted post. That goes to Meta, on top of making the ad.

Do Facebook ads work for HVAC companies?

They can, but nobody can promise results. They suit planned jobs like tune-ups, and they can make your name familiar.

Do you run the ads for me?

No. 30 Second Ad Factory makes the ad. You, or whoever handles your ads, puts it live on Facebook and sets the budget.

The short version

Good Facebook ads for HVAC companies don't chase the emergency. They get there first, with one problem, your name twice, one offer and one button.

You could make it yourself, somewhere between the attic and the next service call. But for a busy owner, our done-for-you team is the best option: we hand you a finished ad to approve, with no tool to learn.

No ad can promise calls or sales, ours included. But when the furnace quits, you want to be the name stuck in their head.
