Facebook Ads for Cleaning Companies: What to Say + Examples

Read the guides on cleaning ads and you'll get the same tip over and over. Jobber, Method and GetHookd all point you to before-and-after photos.

It's good advice. That's the problem. Every cleaner in your town can read it too, and now your clean carpet is sitting next to their clean carpet.

Here's the short answer. Facebook ads for cleaning companies need four things: the mess your customer is sick of, proof you can fix it, one offer and one button. Put the mess in the first 3 seconds. Then do something the other cleaners in town probably aren't doing.

We'd sing it.

A clean carpet looks like every other clean carpet. A song has your name in it.

A song ad is a short video where your message is sung, with every word on screen. At 30 Second Ad Factory, the done-for-you ad team from 30 Second Productions, we write a catchy song about your cleaning business, an AI singer sings it, and we turn it into a 3D cartoon ad. You fill in a 5-minute form. It's ready in 72 hours.

Here's one we made for a power washing company.

Cartoon house cleaner at the door while the owner books on a phone

Start with the mess, not the mop

Nobody buys cleaning. They buy their Saturday back.

No one sits on the sofa thinking, "I need professional residential services." They think, "I can't face that bathroom again." Write the second one.

Every cleaning trade has its own moment when the customer has had enough:

  • House cleaners: the weekend that vanished into a mop bucket. Guests on the way or a move-out date work too.
  • Carpet cleaners: the stain they've been hiding with a rug. Pet spots, spilled drinks, the smell at the front door.
  • Power washers: what the neighbors can see. Green driveways, grey siding and a dirty fence all show from the curb.
  • Window cleaners: dirty glass you stop noticing until the low sun hits it.

Pick one moment and build the whole ad around it. A before-and-after photo shows the clean part. Your ad should start with the part they're sick of.

Then give them a reason to let you in

You're asking a stranger to hand you their keys and let you walk around their bedroom. That's a big ask.

Jobber calls reviews and referrals one of the top ways to market a home service, so put your star rating and your town on screen. If you're licensed and insured, say so.

And drop the trade talk. "IICRC Certified" is a big deal to you. To someone with a smelly hallway, it's alphabet soup. "We get the dog smell out" needs no explaining.

Three cleaning ad examples you can steal

We wrote these to be sung, just for this post, so they aren't real ads and have no results behind them. Swap in your name, town and real proof.

The house cleaner

Your Saturday called. It wants you back.

Mop in the morning, laundry till noon, the whole weekend's gone way too soon. Call [Your Name], put your feet up instead. The house gets clean, and you stay in bed.

On screen: your star rating and town. Offer: book this week and the oven clean is on us. Button: Book now.

The carpet cleaner

That couch can only hide so much.

Muddy paws and grape juice too, push the couch, that won't do. [Your Name] rolls up, steam turned on. Blink, and that old stain is gone.

On screen: [Your Town]'s carpet crew, plus your rating. Offer: three rooms cleaned, hallway free. Button: Get quote.

The window cleaner

You paid for that view. Can you see it?

Streaks on the glass, dust on the sill, the sun's been knocking, knocking still. [Your Name] climbs, you stay right here. Now the whole street's looking clear.

On screen: insured, and how many homes you've done in [Your Town]. Offer: send a photo, get a free quote by message. Button: Send message.

All three run the same way: hook in 3 seconds, story in the middle, offer at the end. Here's a real one we made for a yard cleanup company.

Hear what yours could sound like.

Why a song and not another before-and-after?

A photo shows your work. A song's job is to get your name stuck in someone's head.

MassiveMusic, a sonic-branding agency, reported in August 2026 that new System1 analysis of more than 1,250 Effie-entered campaigns gave jingles 1.9 times the brand fluency of a standard visual logo. Brand fluency is roughly how fast people know whose ad it is.

Yes, a company that sells sound says sound works. And that's a jingle against a logo in all kinds of ads, not a song against a photo.

But in our view, people remember the clean carpet and forget whose it was. The song is the part with your name in it.

Don't toss your before-and-after, either. Run both.

Jobber warns that stock or AI-made images can look staged or fake. A cartoon is plainly a cartoon, so it isn't pretending to be your crew.

A song isn't for everyone, though. Skip it if:

  • You bid on big office jobs. GetHookd treats commercial cleaning as its own kind of ad, aimed at facility managers.
  • Your offer is weak or your reviews are thin. A catchy song won't cover that.
  • You don't want an AI voice on your brand. A phone video is fine.

What do Facebook ads for cleaning companies cost to make?

Anywhere from your own time to $2,500 or more for a studio jingle with no video. A 30 Second Ad Factory song ad is $97, video included. The money to run the ad is separate.

How do you know your cleaning ad is working?

Likes don't clean anything. Count booked jobs.

Pick your best service in your busiest town. Run your song ad next to your best before-and-after photo, with the same budget on each. Then ask every new caller where they saw you.

Frequently asked questions

Do Facebook ads work for cleaning companies?

They can, but nobody can promise results, us included. Jobber's guide, updated in 2026, says cleaning businesses often see good results with social ads.

How much should a cleaning company spend on Facebook ads?

Jobber's guide, updated in 2026, says to start testing at $5-$20 a day. That money goes to Meta.

What size should a cleaning ad be?

Vertical, and shorter than a fridge note. As of November 2026, Meta's Reels guide recommends vertical 9:16 video, 40 characters of primary text and a 55-character headline. Facebook Feed lists 4:5 and a 27-character headline. "Free oven clean this week" fits both.

30 Second Ad Factory song ads come in the vertical Facebook video ad size, every word on screen.

Is the song ad singer a real person?

No. The singing voice in 30 Second Ad Factory song ads is AI, in the style you pick. We can write the words or use yours.

Does 30 Second Ad Factory run my ads?

No. 30 Second Ad Factory makes the ad. You, or whoever handles your ads, puts it live and sets the budget.

The short version

One mess, one bit of proof, one offer, one button. That's a good cleaning ad.

You could write it, film it and edit it yourself. But you'd be doing that on the Saturday you just promised to give back to your customers. For a busy owner, our done-for-you team is the best option: we hand you a finished ad to approve, with no tool to learn.

No ad can promise leads or sales, ours included. But in a town full of clean carpets, yours can be the one that sings.
